Fresh Ideas for Getting Off the Turnover Treadmill

A 3-part lunchtime webinar series  with Carolee Colter and Mark Mulcahy

Mark and Carolee have witnessed the impacts of high staff turnover on the co-ops where we consult, including:

  • Hiring and training on a constant treadmill

  • Losing people before you can recoup the investment in training them

  • Department managers burning out

 

Drawing on our decades of consulting and conducting employee surveys, we’ll present practical ideas to prevent and mitigate turnover. Some ideas can be implemented directly by department managers. Others will need a whole-store approach with department manager buy-in.

 

Our webinar series will run for 3 consecutive Thursdays: October 2, October 9 and October 16, beginning at 1pm PDT and lasting for 75 minutes each. 

Although the sessions will be virtual, we are offering them to co-ops all in the Western Corridor to build on the existing community of their peers. We’re encouraging stores to send multiple department managers so that managers of like departments can learn from each other through their common shared experiences.

We’ve intentionally priced this webinar series to provide good value to stores of any size.

  • $600 for 5 participants ($120 each)

  • $100 for each additional participant over 5

  • $150 each for 1 to 4 participants
